Normally BYO beverages are not permitted onboard Oceanos with the exception of any special drinks which are not normally available on the vessel

Please bring sufficient food to meet RSA guidelines. A light meal minimum chips and dip wont meet minimums. If ordering from our onboard menus a min 7 working days notice is required

Are there any additional limitations on guest numbers or dates permitted for BYO charters?
*BYO Food: Minimum preparation or a chef fee ($250) may apply.

What happens in poor weather?
Cruises do go ahead if conditions are wet. If deamed dangerous - usually high winds - the skipper will make the judgement to postpone the cruise

Are plates, glasses / cups, cutlery included?
All plates and cultery and cups for drinks are provided on board

Are BYO spirits allowed?
Spirits are permitted but all must have a mixer. No shots permitted

Is ice provided onboard?
Ice is porvided for cooling cold stores and for drinks

Is there a BBQ onboard?
There is no BBQ on board. We do have a galley kitchen with oven for warming food only

Is drinking water included?
Yes but not bottled

Can I dropoff supplies at the boat before the charter?
Yes where the boat schedule permits. Pre-access Pricing for drop-off of food, beverages, equipment and decorations:
i) $100 for charters with a beverage package and/or catering.
ii) $200 for BYO charters.

What cool storage is there onboard?
There are several refrigerators and freezers available on board

Are glass bottles allowed onboard or just cans?
Glass bottles are allowed but consider bringing cans since they are lighter and safer since they won't smash.

Does the boat provide napkins/serviettes?
This is a consumable so we recommend bringing your own for BYO Charters.

Wharf Availability Advisory – Summer 2024/25
Wharf maintenance and limited wharf options in the CBD are causing challenges across the industry. This may lead to delays or limited availability at popular wharves.
CBD options: King St Wharf & Casino are popular however availability is limited.
Aquarium wharf is an option but please note delays can occur & boats may not provide extra time to compensate so we advise using other locations. Other wharfs that may experience unpredictable delays are Pirrama Park, Double Bay & Rose Bay.

What is the bond for?
The bond is taken incase there are damages caused by your group during your charter.
The no.1 cause for bond claims is broken toilets so please tell your guests not to flush things like wipes or tampons down the toilets - just a small amount of toilet paper is Ok.
Vomiting around the boat will incur fees. Don't bring Sparklers, confetti balloons, glitter (candles by request only) as they will stain the boat.

Can we bring a baby? Is there an age limit? Are they counted as guests?
Yes babies are allowed onboard - there is no age limit. Yes, kids of all ages are included in your guest count.
If you have young kids coming, please let us know in advance.

Are there any water toys onboard?
Yes, we include a Lili-pad floating mat on all cruises. Strand up paddleboard can be arranged for $50 each.

Smoking - is it permitted and are there any restrictions?
Cigarette smoking is permitted on the lower back deck only, definitely not in the interior of the vessel or on the top and bow of the boat

Can we have a DJ?
Inhouse DJ from $900. Or BYO $100 includes On board 2 high quality DJ speakers and a DJ table. This prevents cables and unnecessary space when DJs BYO and reduced set up time consirably so ready to go. Recommended. Preaccess fees for DJ are required also

Is there a sound system and what connectivity is there?
Yes, sound system can be connected via Bluetooth

Footwear - are there any restrictions?
Strictly no high heels to be worn board. Guests are also requested to avoid dark soled shoes, as they mark the vessel. Terry towelling slippers (in sealed packets) can be supplied for $5pp.

Is swimming allowed?
Swimming is permitted taking into account weather conditions. All persons must dry off prior to entering the interior of the vessel. Swimming is at the persons risk.

Any other rules the organisers and guests should know?
