What happens in poor weather?
The weather policy advises that on the day of your charter the skipper will check the weather and if it is still safe to be out on the water then the charter will go ahead. Before that we won't be able to change the date or time you have booked for any weather related reasons. This is due to each vessel having a different capability to handle varying weather conditions, and as well as Sydney weather being so temperamental that it can change very quickly, sometimes within an hour. Cruise Cat itself is well-weather protected and has undercover and indoor areas. It is very unlikely that your charter will get postponed.
If the weather is unsafe to go out on the day, you will have a 6 month credit note to use with your booked vessel. No refunds will be processed.

Wharf Availability Advisory – Summer 2024/25
Wharf maintenance and limited wharf options in the CBD are causing challenges across the industry. This may lead to delays or limited availability at popular wharves.
CBD options: King St Wharf & Casino are popular however availability is limited.
Aquarium wharf is an option but please note delays can occur & boats may not provide extra time to compensate so we advise using other locations. Other wharfs that may experience unpredictable delays are Pirrama Park, Double Bay & Rose Bay.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs, allergies, or specific food safety concerns?
We do our best to work with our suppliers to accommodate various dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free). However, because our food is sourced externally, we cannot guarantee a 100% nut-free environment or the complete absence of allergens such as gluten. We encourage you to let us know in advance about any serious allergies or dietary needs so we can liaise with our caterers.
If your charter is BYO (Bring Your Own) catering, please note that we are not responsible for the quality, storage, or safety of food or beverages brought on board by guests. We recommend following proper food-handling practices for any items you bring.
If you or your guests have any significant concerns or severe allergies, please contact us so we can discuss the best way to address them.
